HOMEOATHY IN THE INTENSIV- AND EMERGENCYMEDICINE

The book of Univ.-Prof. Dr .med. Michael Frass and Dr. med. Martin Bündner talkes about the application of homeopathy in Intensive Care and Emmergency medicine; it shows how the "apparative Therapieverfahren" and the regulating effect of homeopathy. Described within 145 case studies it will be explained, how homeopathy works also in intensive care and emergency medicine effectively.

MEDICAL CRITERIA

Exampel: lump gill fungus intoxication

A nearly 70 year old women was taken to the intensiv care unit, after she was infected by a lump gill fungus. Besides an already existing myocardial infarction was also the existing of a limited kidney activity and arterial hypertension known. Additionally the patient showed symptoms of a Dyspnoea. The fungus infection developed itself to a dangerous life threatening situation; this took the following development: ventricular vibrillation, two times defibrillation, comatose, intubate and controlled ventilation, increase in Serumlaktate and transaminases, beginning of a continous veno-venous pumpdriven haemofiltration, transaminases raised steadily, Quick-Test dropped.

A liver transplantation was rejected due to the bad medical condition; a liver assist therapy wasn't an option too. All specalists agreed to the unfavourable prognose.; the relatives were already informed about imminent death. The homeopathic therapy was started in this hopeless situation, used were: Arsenicum album (C 200, hourly 5 Glob. over 2 Tage), Phosphor (C 200, hourly 5 Glob. over 3 Tage), Helleborus niger

(C 200, once a day 5 Glob. over 12 Tage). The patient did neurological progress in the beginning. On the the third day was the "hämodynamische" and respiratory situation stable, nevertheless the amount of transaminasens raised steadily. After little progress the transminases started after approximately 11 days to convert to a normal amount. On day 19 was the patient already conscious again able to eat with support. On day 26 was the patient transferred to the general station and could be released on day 42 out of the hospital. In the meantime where two lump gill fungus patients died after the intoxination. The conclusion of the author Univ.- Prof. Dr. med. Frass – head of the special outpatient departement homeopathy for maligne diseases « the departement for oncology at the medical university of Vienna: „Despite the inevitable life threatening situation of the patient was a rescue possible.“

The clinical presenting of the seperate diseases takes place in this book according to the latest scientifical state of the art. Case studies with repertorisation, means differentation and process ovservation and Materia medica with more than 70 dugs. Descriptions of the relationship between the drugs, ingredients and homeopathical testing symptoms.

The use of exponentiated drugs in the intensive care has shown to be a useful and practical additive therapie method, because it can be used for targeted drug reactions in the healing process. Die Kriterien hinsichtlich der Arzneiqualität, Arzneiherstellung und Arzneiapplikation sind von großer Bedeutung, denn nur mit sehr gut zubereiteten Arzneimitteln können entsprechende Ergebnisse erzielt werden. Bei potenzierten Arzneimitteln gibt es Qualitätsunterschiede die sowohl die Ausgangsmaterialien, die Herstellung als auch die Lagerung betreffen ( II.3.3). Die folgenden Kapitel und der Arzneimittelkit sollen eine Übersicht über Inhaltsstoffe und Verarbeitung geben, um auf die pharmakologischen und toxikologischen Wirkungen der Arzneimittel einzugehen.
